PRESIDENT

Jim Johnson

Jim Johnson has been with IES Residential for twenty years and served as Vice President of Operations over the past nine years. Mr. Johnson is the President of IES Residential, a role he has held since April 2023. Collectively, he has over thirty years of experience in the industry and is most notably known for his wealth of knowledge and passion for safety and training.

VICE PRESIDENT OF SINGLE FAMILY ELECTRICAL SERVICES

Robert Wright

Robert Wright joined IESR in 1994 and has worked in new construction, service, sales, and as a senior divisional manager overseeing multiple markets. With almost thirty years of residential experience, Mr. Wright is known for building strong relationships with his teams, customers, partners, and other divisional mangers across the IESR business. Mr. Wright’s primary focus is on the development, management and growth of the national IESR platform for single family electrical services.

VICE PRESIDENT OF HVAC & PLUMBING SERVICES

Robbie Blankenship

Robbie Blankenship joined IESR in 2020 through the acquisition of Bayonet Plumbing, Cooling & Heating. He brings more than twenty years of industry knowledge and expertise. Mr. Blankenship’s primary focus is the development and management of a national IESR platform for HVAC and plumbing.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

Alison Petersen

Alison Petersen joined IESR in 2009 as a Lead Accountant. She has held progressive positions in accounting at IES Holdings over the last fourteen years, including Chief Accounting Officer. Ms. Petersen has over twenty years of experience in public accounting and her primary focus is financial process, audit compliance, general accounting, AR, AP, Payroll and IT systems.

VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL

Chris Kirklin

Chris Kirklin joined IESR in 2000 as the Contracts Manager, later becoming Vice President and General Counsel. Ms. Kirklin is responsible for guiding and directing the legal department as well as for overseeing all contracts and litigation. She has a B.A. in English from the University of Houston and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.

Britt Crist

Britt Crist has been with IES Residential for twenty years. He has served as Master Electrician of record for all of our divisions nationwide. Having spent over forty-eight years in the industry, Mr. Crist has an extensive background in electrical technology and holds over forty Master Licenses. He serves on Code-Making Panel 2 of the National Electrical Code.
